The Nithsdale Hotel is a family run hotel, situated on the High Street of Sanquhar on the A76 approx half way between Dumfries and Kilmarnock/Ayr.

The hotel is approx. a 5 minute walk from the River Nith and fishing permits are available on request.

The Nithsdale has 12 en-suite bedrooms, public and lounge bars, function suite and a restaurant serving food all year round.

The hotel has private parking , Wi-fi and Sky TV. We try to make our guests as comfortable as possible with a nice easy atmosphere and where no request is too ardous.

Built in 1851 as a coaching inn, our family run hotel stands at the market cross in the centre of this picturesque, typically Scottish conservation village. It is an ideal central base for all beats on the river.
