Rules
Specific rules are detailed on the permits
and listed in the fishing huts but full information
can be found in the Fishing particulars. Flyfishing
is preferred but worming and spinning are acceptable
depending on the height of water.
Access
and Parking
Fishing is
generally accessed from both banks although the Upper
Beat has the use of a boat. The Nith Linns, unlike the
3 Castle beats, are rocky in nature with some steep
banking. This however, offers an exciting challenge
to the experienced fisherman. Fishing huts and suitable
parking is available on all beats. |
