Owned
by Dumfries & Galloway Angling Association,
the beat has 11 named pools all of which provide
good holding for salmon and sea trout.
All pools are easily fished from one or other
bank and are suitable for fly fishing with an
overhead cast. The river bed is even gravel with
no difficulties for wading. Pools are a "manageable'
size - big enough for experienced anglers, but
not too big for the novice. |
