The Board employs a Fishery Director, 2 full-time Water Bailiffs, seasonal Water Bailiffs, an Administrative Assistant and a Clerk. All staff are suitably trained and are continually taking courses to update and improve their qualifications.

The Board raises its annual income from all proprietors of salmon fishings in the district. The local Authority Assessor fixes the Rateable Value for individual beats. The Board uses this to fix the rates which then offset the yearly expenses incurred by the Board.
