Angler, Barry Smith from Lancashire with an 8lb lb cock fish
taken in October 2003.
Barry
e-mailed the photograph and told us . . . .
"I
fished the river last year in October and caught the first
salmon of my life on my Orange Ally Shrimp with my Hardy ultralite
9ft rod!
The
fish put up brave battle but ended up in my net. I quickly
photographed the beauty
and returned it to the river.
I will be back!"
