Craig Rostron and a group of friends visited the Nith in September and fished the Dalswinton Beat. He sent us this report ....

"Here's a few photos from the Dalswinton beat Mon 7th-wed 9th September.

7 fish in total ... 1 salmon of 13lb and one grilse of 8.5 lb and another of 4.5lb. The salmon was taken by David Balmforth on the worm from the Farm Pool. I had a 8.5lb grilse on the worm from Friars Carse. The small grilse again on worm by Peter from the Farm Pool.  All caught in high water.

Tony and Andy took two grilse each on Monday and Wednesday from Ellisland, Scar and Policemans fishing worm and spinner.
