Bailliffs have commented that one pleasing thing about the
Nith is that more and more anglers are following the Nith
Angling Code guidelines by returning cloured fish at the tail
end of the season.
This
photo shows "Chalkie" (White?) returning a 9lb hen
fish on the Upper Nithsdale Water in the 2nd week of November.
