Looking quite pleased with himself . . .

Lochmaben angler Bill Chisholm took this 6lb fish at Carnsalloch on Tuesday 30th October. Taken on the Bluffs Pool, the fish fell to a small red Ally's Shrimp fly.

Bill tells us "it was hard fishing that day, with a good number of fish splashing through.

It makes all the difference when you get something to go home with".
