Well worth the trip from London . . .

Chris Gorell Barnes caught this brand new 11lb cock fish caught on the fly at Portrack on 21st October.

He took it on an Ally's shrimp with a sinking tip - just below the railway bridge.

Chris was on a short holiday - visiting from London. He tells us it gave a great fight - and that it "tasted fantastic".

The weather was very mild, sun and showers. Water was quite low for October.
