Just what the Doctor ordered . . .

Dr Michael Reid’s party fishing the Drumlanrig castle middle and lower beats, October 29-31st had 8 salmon , 6 returned.

Brian Eastman had 6 fish all on fly. He returned four of them.

Gordon Evan (pictured right) had a fish estimated at 15lbs + which he sportingly returned.

Dr Reid broke a long hoodoo in finally landing a fish from the  Doctor’s pool, having had fish from most of the other pools in the past
