"Just to let you know I had a wonderful 2 days fishing on the Mid-Nithsdale water.

On Friday 25th Sept, I took a fresh 10lb salmon from Ellars (picture left) and returned an 8lb salmon in Mathers

Saturday, I lost a 8-10lb salmon in Kellocks then had two grilse 4-5lbs each. Then I lost a further salmon using barbless Flying 'c's

Despite the water being very low there were fresh fish about ... "
