Andrew Hyde from Masham fished the Nith for the first time in the week starting Monday 9th July- on the Upper Nithsdale AA.

He e-mailed us to say . . .

"Not too much to report from my fishing trip this week! However I did manage one Sea Trout on Tuesday from the Upper Nithsdale stretch a 2lb 6oz fish taken just below Sanguhar near the sewage works! I lost two other Sea Trout just after catching this one and nothing else for the rest of the week.

This is the first time I have fished the Nith and I will be back"
