A fish caught last Saturday by John Celentano on the Old Mains beat. The fish tipped the scales at 14lb 2 and was returned successfully.

However it did create a large debate as to whether due to it's colour, spot marking and straight tail the fish was a salmon, or sea trout.

Graham and the beat's Ghillie believes it to be a cock sea trout returning back to sea. John wasn't so sure. However it did give him a tremendous struggle and took 47 minutes to land.

Anyone care to hazard a guess?
