An ideal start to Lol's day . . .

It was an ideal start to the day for Nith Veteran, Lol Walker from Leyburn, North Yorkshire.

He caught this fresh-run 12lb salmon on a Cascade Fly in the Rock Pool on Mid NithsdaleAA water at about 8.30am Monday 8th October.

Not a bad way to start the day!
