It's not all bad luck for the French!

Regular Nith angler Michael Granger from Paris was one frenchman with a smile on his face this week.

He has just arrived for his two-week autumn holiday and unlike his rugby and football playing countrymen, he has lots to smile about.

Day two of the holiday and he landed these two nice fish on the Bluffs pool of the Carnsalloch water. The fish were 7lb & 5lb and taken on the worm and a small toby spoon.

Well done, mon ami!
