"The picture is a bit hazy but dimensions of fish are visible 38" long when checked against rod later.

The fly and rod in picture was the method of capture, fished on bouncing betty and 4 foot leader.

As I couldn't cover fish with 40 yd cast on double hander, due to height of water, I swapped to spinning rod and fly/bouncing betty.

The fish took on 2nd cast."

Bert reckons the fish was over 20lb
