Graham Jackson reported a good week for his party on Closeburn Castle in the week starting 2nd Nov.  

"Two fish were taken on Monday despite high water. Allaistair Hugill caught his 2nd ever fish of 7lb and Rob Hall-Jones caught a 8.5 lb fresh fish.  No other fish were caught until Fri 6th Nov when 4 fish were landed all on the fly. 

Charlton Peters (photo right) caught two (11lb & 14 lb) on his first visit to the Nith.  These were 11 and 14 lb with the latter being his biggest fish to date. 

Rob Hall-Jones got his second fish of the week at about 10 lbs.  Graham caught his only fish of the week at 7 lb."
