Burgh Angler Scott Simpson with this beautifully fresh 10lb
fish landed on the Dumfries Town Water at the Purls stretch
on Saturday 24th November 2007.
The
fish still had sea lice on it and was taken on a 2inch black
and red floating devon.
Scott
told us "I was just saying to myself 'last cast' as I
was going home to watch the football then . . . . Bang!
Just
shows you . . . it's never too late to stop trying!
