Atlantic Salmon Trust bid pays off for Peter

Peter Thompson from Leeds had his first day ever on the Nith in June . . . and it turned out to be quite a success.

Peter had 'won' the day as part of the bidding for fishing donated by Blackwood Estate to the Atlantic Salmon Trust Conservation Fund.

He went home well pleased with this 12lb sea-liced fish taken on a tube fly on the Estate's Bridge Pool Thursday 28th June.
