David Woodhead, Ray Snowdon, Frank Bell and Tony Wood fished the Rosehill beat for the week starting Monday 20th November - with only 3 of them fishing each day.

Frank sent us this report . . .

"We landed 25 salmon, 18 of which were returned & one sea trout (returned) - all caught spinning.

19 fish were lost - some were very briefly - did not think it was that many lost until added up

Not ideal fishing levels/conditions.
On average we would be fishing 4ft above summer level. Both Ray Snowdon & Dave Woodhead on their first visit to the Nith had 7 fish each - but well guided by me ?"
