Byre is a newly converted to a high standard,
this self-catering cottage has been awarded the Scottish Tourist Board's
4 Stars and graded Category 1 under the National Accessibility Scheme.
The cottage sleeps 8 persons in 4 bedrooms - two of which
are en-suite. There is TV in all bedrooms and the lounge has a large TV
and DVD player. The kitchen is well equiped -
with washing machine/tumble drier, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and
electric cooker/hob.
The cottage has its own garden and patio, complete with
picnic table and barbeque. There is a toom with
a pool table and ping-pong. Free trout fishing
nearby.

leafy woods overlooking rolling farmland that stretches away to Criffel and the nearby shores of the sparkling Solway
Firth. The timber log cabin provides spacious, bright, modern
accommodation.
Wide sandstone steps lead to a comfortable living area combining lounge,
dining and kitchen facilities with doors to a shower room and a double
bedroom. The large grounds around The Lodge offer an outdoor swimming
pool, that can be hired, and a wildlife pond, home to goldfish, carp, tench, brown trout and ducks. In fact the peaceful,
rural location is teeming with wildlife. A variety of birds abound and,
if you are lucky, you can enjoy breakfast at the panoramic living room
windows, watching the local woodpecker enjoy his. At the right time of
year you might be able to watch buzzards nesting nearby.
